Newcomers and Neighbors of the Mendhams
The Newcomers & Neighbors of the Mendhams is a community-driven organization. The club's purpose is to develop friendships among residents, new and old. They invite residents to join the club and participate in club sponsored activities, such as book club, bowling, bridge, children's activities, mah-jongg, walking, casual gourmet, ladies and couple outings. Activities are held both during the day and in the evening. In addition, there are special programs and social events held periodically during the year.

League of Women Voters of the West Morris Area
The League promotes political responsibility through informed and active participation of citizens in government. We are a grass roots organization that is respected for our objectivity and nonpartisanship and noted for our political effectiveness.

Voter Service of the Mendhams
This group provides information on registering to vote, change of address, new registration or candidates for local elections.

Mendham Senior Citizens
The group's programs offer Social Services, information and entertainment pertinent to senior citizens. They meet at 11 AM on the second and fourth Mondays of each month at the Garabrant Center on Wilson Street. Participants bring their own lunch, and beverages and desserts are provided by the club. The group takes day trips and two extended multi-day trips each year. Bus transportation for the day trips is subsidized by our local governments.

Brookside Garden Club
The Brookside Garden Club meets at the Brookside Community Church on the second Tuesday of each month from September through May. A light tea sandwich buffet luncheon is served at Noon, followed by a meeting and program at 12:45 PM. Each month, the Club enjoys a terrific slide presentation, lecture and demonstration pertaining to gardening and New Jersey resources. Although the Garden Club maintains seasonal plantings around Brookside, their main emphasis is horticultural.

Mendham Garden Club
In 2008, the Club will be commemorating 75 years of service with programs, field trips and community outreach. Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of every month from September to June at the Garabrant Center on Wilson Street. The Club also works on Tuesday mornings, from April to October, maintaining the Phoenix House Garden and the Oak Tree Triangle at the East entrance to the town. Other Garden Club projects include making holiday wreaths for the public buildings; decorating the Phoenix House in December; and supplying monthly flower arrangements for the Borough Library. An annual plant sale is held on a Saturday in May at the Mendham Village Shopping Center.

Mendham Woman's Club
The Woman's Club of Mendham is part of the New Jersey State Federation of Woman's Clubs, whish is the oldest nondenominational, nonpartisan, volunteer service organization of women in New Jersey. The club's purpose is to stimulate the intellectual, educational and cultural interests of their members and to provide social service to the community, with a primary emphasis on education. The club awards scholarships to Mendham High seniors; recognition awards to 8th grade graduates; and sponsors Mendham High students at leadership seminars in addition to raising money for local charities and worthy organizations.
Meetings are held the third Tuesday of each month at 7:30 PM at the Garabrant Center, Wilson Street.

Mendham Junior Woman's Club
The Club is a service organization open to all women in the Mendham area and sponsored by the Mendham Woman's Club. The club donates proceeds of fund-raising to various local organizations and programs; brings the Easter Bunny and Santa Claus to town; provides a St. Patrick's Day luncheon to area seniors; gives scholarships; coordinates an annual blood drive and food drive; sponsors a Halloween Poster Contest; runs the annual Labor Day games, organizes meals and donations to families in need.
Meetings are held at 7:30 PM on the first Wednesday of each month (except July, Aug. and Dec.) at the Garabrant Center.

Mendham Business Association
The Mendham Business Association sponsors the "Holly Trail" weekend event at Christmas time and the Annual Golf Scholarship Outing. This year's outing will be at Basking Ridge Country Club in October.

Mendham Rotary Club
The Mendham Rotary Club is a service organization of local businessmen and women the Mendhams and surrounding areas. It holds fund raisers, a major one being the Spring Rotary Antique Show, and is involved in many activities in support of the community. Contributions are made for High School scholarships; medical programs for the elderly; D.A.R.E.; Little League and much more. The club is also involved in Rotary District activities, such as Gift of Life and Rotoplast. Rotary International brings the world together by encouraging and fostering international understanding, goodwill and peace through the programs of the Foundation of Rotary International.
The club meets Wednesdays at 6:30 PM at the Lamplighter in Chester.

Mendham Interchurch
The Mendham Interchurch Committee is an organization of the seven churches and two convents in the Mendhams. Monthly meetings involve both the clergy and laity. Mendham Interchurch promotes cooperation between the religious denominations in the Mendhams. It supports such programs as: Meals on Wheels; The Morris County Food Pantry; The Annual CROP Walk' Vacation Bible School and various inter-denominational worship.

Mendham Borough Historical Society
The Mendham Borough Historical Society brings together individuals or organizations interested in the history of the Mendhams. The Society collects materials and objects illustrative of life, conditions, events and activities of the past and present and it works to encourage the preservation of historic sites, buildings, monuments and markers. In cooperation with historical architects, the Society assists owners seeking information and generates interest in the past by publishing various documents; holding meetings; and by marking historical buildings, sites and trails.

The Pastime Club
The Pastime Club, founded in 1915, supports athletics - especially youth athletics - through fund-raising activities. Their primary event is the annual Labor Day celebration, with a 50/50 raffle; rides and games; and other activities co-sponsored by the Borough Recreation Committee. This event culminates with a stunning fireworks display on Labor Day evening.
The Pastime Club also owns and operates a four-lane bowling facility, the Pastime Lanes that is available by reservation for parties and open to the public on weekends during the winter. The lanes also provide leagues for adults and children. Contact: (973) 543-6631.
